princess...its kinda like getting a new house we were going thru and decorating it willy nilly enjoying and having fun sharing the best of us.......I shared more than I should have.......wink took up for me......his words were taken wrong and lots of feelings hurt when we were reminded it really wasnt our house at all we were just renting and not allowed to hang curtains or paint the walls.....This was one of the places I felt truly accepted broke and all....but we arent really.... we are here to answer guestions and ask questions on WC period....altho it has been proven over and over it is our hearts and souls that make this board number 1 in the U.S.
1171 is a valued member but he shouldnt have been allowed to come in and jump me even if I was in the wrong....he isnt admin and altho his advice is wanted and needed it is only one of many on here that can help.A PM would have served and no one except me would have known I could have went in and deleted the paste and copy part and went on....he/she was vicious and there was no call for it... I love wink and this board but the all out joy of our new home is gone for me......wink was and is just a valuable member if not more to me than 1171 cuz he was here for us with heart and love......wink and Bad Boy has been here since the beginning for me the board would be a lonely place without them.....I will still drop in there is still alot of info and friends here.......but alot of the joy is gone..

Jayne, Im sorry you feel most of the joy is gone for you. Hopefully that will change as time goes on and Wink gets his tushy back here. I think we are going a great job with using the Off topics and the OT's. To me thats a great compromise and its fair to all!

Geena was standing next to me as I was reading your Post. She saw your avatar. Geena wanted to know if she could come pet and pick up the piggy lol. I told her that you didnt live close to us. Jayne, honestly I think you are taking this way too seriously, and way too far. Since I was unceremoniously mentioned in the little spat with Admin and Wink, I feel compelled to respond.

Admin didn't tell you that you had to do anything differently. That is in your imagination. He just suggested a way to do it that would let others hang their curtains a little differently, since we are all in essentially the same room. That is his/her job. You claim to have "forgiven" 1171 for his admonition. Sure doesn't sound like it. Quite the opposite. And by the way, you are not renting. Rent requires money, or indicates payment. This service is provided FREE OF CHARGE by people who ASK NOTHING OF YOU in return. You should appreciate that they take the time to try to accomodate all, not condemn them for ruining your private affair.

Now, we turn to Wink:

First, I like Wink. He is obviously a well educated and thoughtful person. However, I can see what set Admin off. Winks very first line in the post that drew the ire of Admin was:

"OK...so the "King" is the "King", the "Professional" is the 'Professional". Wow. "

Not a very respectful comment. While they traded barbs over the rest of his text, that opening comment struck me as very harsh. I think Admin only used "King" humorously, but that statement sure uses it in what I view as a sarcastic tone. (I note that admin has removed all "kingly" references from his profile/signatures. That concerns me, as it removes part of the human oriented feel of the board. Apparently he/she feels they are not free to kid around here without being accosted. Am I the only one bothered by that????)

Wink, if you are reading this, you should know that arguments occur here. I've taken my share of bruises. It happens, and we get over it and move on. If you are choosing not to participate because you don't like what one or two people said about you, then that is not a position I can respect. And it doesn't show much compassion or appreciation for the people here who care about you.

Suck it up, pal, and lets move on. People here want to see you again.

This all makes me soooo sad. People have been coming on to the number one...yes #1 sight for help. And although they are receiving some posts to their concerns, they are also being exposed to the inner conflict that is going on. This makes me wonder how many new members we've been losing to another WC help site. I chose to become a part of this group because of the genuine love and concern among the members...I haven't even checked out the other WC forums since I came here...because I felt accepted here and my concerns were answered...in return I hope I have helped others here too. With all the hard feelings that have been going on lately, I haven't even posted what has been going on in my life yet I truly need your prayers. The only one I have even mentioned this to is monster in a PM. I had surgery a week ago (not WC related). I have been in extreme pain since and found out today from the doctor that I need to have the surgery redone using mesh to try and heal the wound. I am so sad that I feel like I couldn't even come here (to my happy place) and ask you for your prayers. snowbear

Oh my poor Snowbear! I am so sorry, because number one I don't think I replied to your last PM because I have been busy, etc. and number two, well sometimes I'm just an a$$...

You have my prayers sweetie and I am so sorry you are going through this and feel alone. You are not alone and need to come here for help and prayers. regardless of what is going on we are here for you (well I wasn't very good, but I will be better, I am so sorry). Please don't stay away, everything will straighten itself out in time and I still feel like I was a big part in causing this rift. I can't figure out how to fix it, but I'm still trying...

You give us an update in a new thread lady and let us know what's going on okay? I have a really bad day tomorrow...school all day and then a ton of macro homework. If I am not on board that is why but should be here for sure Wednesday afternoon. I think you still have my email address, you can always use that. I will probably be online for a bit tomorrow, but once I come here time flies and I don't get anything done.

I appreciate your well articulated candor, but everything you so eloquently surmised was off--with the one exception of your keen observation of my sarcasm directed towards Admin. Although, yes, I was somewhat sarcastic, it was not my intention to harm his feelings, rather to make a point; I think I did, and as well...so did he. As far as I'm concerned, he's still the King of the Board......and I only hope that he places the "The King" back under his Username. I'm certainly going to place my ";)" back as soon as my new avatar arrives via email!

Any ole way, I'm back. Not because I'm done pouting (as implicated in your post) or the numerous and well intended post that I'm just now seeing here, but because there has been a lot going on here on my end with my health AND my case--which may be nearing a fruitful end. You and others may be suspicious of the timing, but hey, the timing issues with Workers' Comp is a monster - and everyone should realize that!

Now...I have a lot of catching up to do. But that's going to take some time, too.  For you and all those who may be reading this, I luv (love) you all.  I think everyone knows that.  Just give me a little time to catch up with you all.

BTW, Billy Bubba...If I had anything to suck up, I couldn't...'cause if it hurts sooo much to cough 'n sneeze, just think what the suckin' would do!!!  Oh, and I like you, too...always have, Bubba

Wink, good to see you back. Even if I was wrong I appreciate you taking my post in the spirit which was intended. I hope that your case is coming to a positive resolution.
