RE: NEED CROCKPOT RECIPES
this recipe is my aunts, and was put in a cook book for her church in Arizona...
Cheesy hash browns... 2lbs bag frozen hash brown potatoes 1 stick margarine melted 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 pt of sour cream 8 oz grated cheddar cheese 1 medium onion, chopped salt and pepper to taste optional: top with crushed potatoe chips or bread crumbs mixed with melted margarine partially thaw potatoes. mix all ingredients and put into 9X13 pan.. top with crumbs. bake at 375 degrees 1 hour or until browned...this is sooooo good. Holiday mashed potato casserole 3 lbs red potatoes (about 12) 1 8OZ philadelphia cream cheese 1/4 c. margarine 1/2 c. sour cream 1/2 c milk 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/4 c. finely chopped onions salt and pepper to taste cook potatoes until tender and peel while warm. In a large bowl mash potatoes, add cream cheese in small pieces and add margarine. beat well until cheese and margarine are melted and mixed in. add sour cream and mix. add beaten eggs and onion to milk, then add to potatoe mixture. add salt and pepper and beat well until light and fluffy. place in a greased casserole and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45min. until lightly browned on top. serves 8-12 no where to hide |

RE: NEED CROCKPOT RECIPES
There is an Ollie's close to me and they have many recipe books. I've seen some for crockpots or quick meals, if you want me to send you one, let me know. They are not expensive at all.
Thanks Vickie |

RE: NEED CROCKPOT RECIPES
Here is a recipe that is very easy, my daughter used to love it when she was little. Plus you get to cheat by using Bisquick.
EASY CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS Take 1 chicken cut up Put in Crockpot with 3 cups chicken broth Salt, pepper and season salt to taste Cook on high for 2 hours Cook on low or medium for 4-5 hours until chicken falls off bone. Remove chicken with straining spoon, set aside to cool slightly. Mix up dumplings per package directions on Bisquick, I double it. Take chicken off bone and have in big chunks. Add chicken back to crockpot, turn to high. When boiling, add dumpling mixture by tablespoon, one at a time. Put lid back on, cook on med. for 15 minutes. Stir and let sit for a few minutes before dipping into bowls. Enjoy. |
