NEED CROCKPOT RECIPES
OK People Jayne the big ol klutz has fallen and twisted her ankle and it is taking awhile to get better.......I have lots of chicken in freezer and need simple crockpot recipes to use it as it is hard to stand on my foot......would like something I dont have to prepare many side dishes for...........

Crock pots are great. Chicken, cream of mushroom soup, milk, onions, potatoes, mushrooms, and green beans are good together. You can also use this with porkchops.
Chicken, veggies and chicken broth. Those are a couple I use. I also like chicken and bbq sauce slow cooked. Hope your ankle feels better soon. Are you icing it? |

Hunter's stew with chicken
3 boneless skinless chicken breast halves cut into 2x1 in pieces 1 medium green bell peper cut into 1 in pieces 1 medium onion thinly sliced 1 15oz can garbanzo beans drained 1 14oz jar tomato pasta sauce (1 1/2 cup) 1 8oz can mushroom and pieces and stems drained combine all ingredients mix well cover cook on low setting 6 to 7 hours. no where to hide |

chicken and ramen noodle soup
1 1/4 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs about 6 1 16 oz fresh baby carrots cut in half lenghwise 1 medium stalk celery chopped about 1/2 cup 1 8oz can sliced bamboo shoots drained 1 3oz pkg oriental flavor ramen noodle soup mix 1 32oz container chicken broth 1 cup frozen sugar snappeas thawed 2 green onions sliced layer chicken thights carrots celery bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and contents of seasoning packet from soup mix. pour broth over top cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 8 hours about 10 minutes before serving, remove chicken from slow cooker place on large plate..shred chicken with 2 forks, return to slow cooker and mix well ...coarsely break noodles from soup mix into soup Stir in thawed sugar snap peas. cover cook an additional 10 minutes until noodles are tender. just before serving stir in onions..add salt and pepper to taste.. no where to hide |

white chili with chicken
1 lb boneless skinless chicken thights cut into bite sized strips 1 cup dried great northern beans sorted and rinsed 1 medium onion chopped 1/2cup 1 garlic clove, minced 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 (10 3/4oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup 5 cups water 1 teaspoon cumin 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (optional) can use your own spices 1 4.5 oz can old el paso chopped green chilies sour cream (optional) chopped avacado (optional) combine chicken, beans onion, garlic oregano,salt soup and water mix well cook on low setting for 9 hrs just before serving, stir cumin hot pepper sauce and chiles into chili. top with sour cream and chopped avocado.... no where to hide |

Ok tweety how about slow cooked lasagna
1 lb lean ground beef 1 26 to 28 oz jar tomato pasta sauce 1 8 oz can no salt added tomato sauce 1/2 9 oz pkg (about 8) no boil lasagna noodles 1 (1lb) jar alfredo pasta sauce 12 oz (3 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese 1/ cup grated parmesan cheese brown ground beed in large skillet over medium high heat tuntil thoroughly cooked stirring frequently and drain spray 4 to 5 qt slow cooker with nonstikc cooking spray spread 3/4 cup of the tomato pasta sauce in bottom of slow cooker stir remianing tomato pasta sauce and tomato sauce into the ground beef layer 3 lasagna noodles over sauce in slow cooker, breaking noodles as necessary. top with 1/3 of the alfredo pasta sauce, spreading evenly sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella. top with 1/3 of the ground beef mixture. repeat layering twice, using 2 lasagna noodles in last layer..sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top cook on low setting for 3 to 4 1/2 hours...wahla no where to hide |

how bout bavarian cocktail meatballs
2 (1lb) frozen cooked meatballs, thawed 1 med onion sliced 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar 3 tablespoons beefy onion soup mix 1 12oz can of beer combine meatballs and onion, sprinkle brown sugar and soup mix over beef and onion. pour beer over top cook on low for 5 to 6 hrs just before serving, gently stir mixture to coat meatballs with sauce. meatballs can be held on low setting for up to 1 hour great for holidays.... no where to hide |

easy italian sausage vegetable soup
1/2 lb bulk italian sausage 1 cup sliced fresh carrots 1 large baking potato, peeled cut into 1/2 inch cubes 1 garlic clove minced 2 14oz cand beef broth 1 15oz garbanzo beans or chickpeas drained 1 14.5oz can pasta style chunky tomatoes, undrained 1 1/2 cups water 1 cup julienne cut (2x1/8x1/8 inch) zucchini 1/2 teaspoon dried italian seasoning 1 bay leaf 1/4 cup grated fresh parmesan cheese (if desired) cook sausage in lrge skillet until no longer pink..drain combine cooked sausage and all remaining ingredients except zucchini and cheese, stir gently to mix cook on low 7 to 9 hrs about 30 min. befoe serving, remove and discared bay leaf from soup. gently stir in zucchini. cook an additional 30 minutes until tender. sprinkle with cheese after placed in individual bowls... no where to hide |
