Reaching MMI
Do you get any warning about the cancellation of benefits once you reach MMI?

When the Doc declares that I have reached MMI, will I then be sent for a Functional Capacity Evaluation?

RE: Reaching MMI
I think you get advance notice when the doctor tells you at the time of the visit.

RE: Reaching MMI
I know I did not. I was sent to an AME and was not told a thing. Almost 2 weeks later I was told by IC that my TTD was stopped as of the day I saw the AME. PPD payments were started but as you probably know they are at a much lower rate. Funny thing is that when I next say PTP she was not aware of report and she did not feel I had reached that point. Turned into an extremely stressful mess.

RE: Reaching MMI
Hi.
I see you are in Ohio....I'm in Michigan....I was put at MMI last year. My weekly TTD payments did not stop, but I was never sent for a FCE. I went into Voc rehab & have been there ever since. I do not think they have to give you advance notice when they stop their payments....if they do, the letter would arrive AFTER payments have halted.
