RE: ultram er
snowbear,
I think I was given it - but I took it every 12 hours. Did it work for me - not at the dosage I was taking since I was still doing the job that I was injured on so basically still using those old arms over and over and over and over and over all day long. But Tylenol in between seemed to help some. Which my PCP said was ok to take. They eventually switched me to regular ultram because of the above reason and after about 3 1/2 yrs of being on Ultram/Ultracet they finally moved me up to narcotics

RE: ultram er
I take the tramadol 100mg several times a day.
It works (according to MD) only if taken in combination with other drugs. I also take a few others. For bad pain I have to take vicodines. Lilly

RE: ultram er
Hi snowbear....Although I have been prescribed Ultram and Ultracet several times over the years and I do find it to be a subtle drug in the way it helps pain, my Dr . just gave me a sample of the 24/7 one I didn't feel it did it's job. That's just me though. Don't forget I am med sensitive. Some give me horrible side effects andsome don't do anything. Give it a try. It won't hurt. Good luck. CAP God is never late. RE: ultram er
Hi Snowbear!! Ultram ER ( Extended Release) is used for Mild to Moderate pain. It was given to Me Early on. when My Scar Tissue and condition wasn't as Bad, and it Provided Little Relief, and not for as Long as it was supposed to. And be aware that even though they say it's not a Med. that You can get Dependent on, You can. This Med. made it's way from England, where it has been used for Years, and they Found out over there that it is Addictive, just as Vicodin or Percocet can be. If Your Pain is more than Mild, I would ask for Something else, to better Help You. I Hope this Helped, and Have a Great Day!!
