what next
im confused. my attorney says he got a letter from the insurance compay that im at mmi and they wont pay anymore but they made an appontment with surgon for next month. they havent sent me a letter to stop disability checks but they havnt sent this weeks check. what is goin on?

:shy:cardsfan, in my opinion, I would think your Insurance Carrier sent you to see one of their Doctor's, called an IME Visit. Which then that Doctor put you at MMI?

You should be seen by your treating Doctor for a full medical Evaluation, and obtain a copy of that report and send it off to your Attorney. Also ask the Doctor to send a copy to the Insurance adjustor, if your Doctor thinks your not at MMI, and what the Doctor feels you still need as far as treatment that should be needed. You should be getting copies of these letters your Attorney gets also. In fact you should always get all your medical records and X-rays and any films like MRI's and such including those writen reports.

im in ohio. the last doc i saw is the pain doc that ive been going to for over 6 months, he said he coulnt do anything else, and told me to see the surgon. im going to the surgery doc that the insurance company picked on may 9. can they say im done with treatmnt but still send me to see another doc?
