mjc

girl you sure have had you share of health problems since your injury and I wish I was there to help you out some. I know your better half is taking good care of you - so tell him to give you an extra hug from driller and me.

Like the others have stated - you getting better is the most important thing. I know HBP can mess with the kidneys - it took quite a while for my kidney functions to come back down to normal range after they went wacky after the ibuprofen and Tylenol that WC had me on every 4 hours alternating. Praying that the same will happen for you - God has had his hand on you for quite some time to pull you through times when you were low - he is still with you now Big Grin

(((((((((((gentle hugs))))))))))

RE: Saw Nephrologist Today
Red,

Yes, I have been on BP meds for about 10 years now. You are so right about all the things that could have brought the renal failure on. I do not truly think it was just one things but the effects of many issues I had going on during the time this happened. Yes, monitoring the BP is a must and I am doing that. I will be keeping a very close watch on that as the doc told me to do this also. My family doc will monitor the anemia because that is important also with kidney failure. I am happy that the nephrologist for 5 months. At least I do have a doctor to call on if needed and I feel good that I will be monitored regarding the kidney failure. Thanks so much for your kind words. In fact thank you to everyone for the kind words.

I finished PT today for my shoulder. Made some progress with range of motion but no relief of the pain. My therapist is recommending to my PM doc tht I need to see an Orthopedic Specialist because she thinks there is more going on with my shoulder since the progess I did make did not help to ease my pain. Still heard nothing from my lawyer yet to see doc for my neck. I did speak to the paralegal today and she will talk to my lawyer. If I don't hear something by tomorrow, I will call WC myself althought I am not suppose to. I don't see why I can't call my adjuster myself especially since they are only taking care of my medical needs and this is a medical need.

That is it for now..........take care everyone and God Bless!

RE: Saw Nephrologist Today
Just spoke to the lawyers office. They said the doc needs to get that approval but this is the thing. I will be waiting after all to see the doc. I do have an appointment in Nov. with PM doc. I called the neurosurgeon office that made me the appt. for next week and now they are telling me that I will need PM to decide if I need to see them or not. That I can understand but I been with this doc and he did all my neck surgeries. In the past when I had a problem I called them and they saw me and ordered whatever study he thought I needed in which I ended up back in surgery every damn time needing a fusion. Oh well, will wait and give my neck complaints to PM doc when I go see him. I had already tried to get that appt. with PM moved up but they had no openings.......so I will just suffer and wait like we all have to do. This was just to update all of you. God Bless everyone and take care!
