Vickie...for you...

RE: Vickie...for you...
I prefer freestyle. I like to see things through my own eyes, not the way someone tells me that I should see them. My daughter is exactly the same. She once did a picture....she was about 7 at the time, of a patchwork cat. Profile of a cat with lots of colours inside the body in curlycue type fashion. I loved that picture, and packed it to be coming along with us........but it disappeared. Never did find it.

Long time ago I did one similar to the one Red and her granddaughter had done with the snow. It was of a huge pond at midnight with a panther stretched out having a little lap. In the water was a reflection of the panthers huge green eyes. Not a realist at all, me!!!!!!!

Bag if you want so badly to go back to England do you not have family that would help you with a plane ticket home?I know they are out of this world expensive but with a bunch of family members chipping in and maybe a break from the airlines could it not be possiable?

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

If you do, why don't you post some here...love to see your work too!!!

RE: Vickie...for you...
Well, the idea of going back to England would now involve uprooting my daughter once again, and this her final year in high school. It would also mean that I would have to find a job in England........since I would still need to find a place to live over there. Unfortunately I am not a citizen of England, though my daughter is. I lived there for 36 years and had long term residency. If I had managed somehow to get back last year I would have been fine........but I couldn't and now I have no residency either.

Having said all of that I have been thinking about thing quite some time. Once I get better and Jamera has gradutated I will be applying for a three year post over at a place called Lee Abbey in North Devon. It is a Christian community and we used to go there on retreat alot. You get posts for up to three years doing various things. I would love to work with the youth group........but my daughter is already applying for that as well. That way we can go together and set up sticks and then just rent out the place here along with the animals. There is bound to be a student, etc who could do that for us.

I don't have any of my paintings here. Unfortunately the ex was very jealous of anything or any life I had before him and I had to get rid of almost everything I had before I came over. Didnt realize I had married such a loser. Way too late by the time I got here.

My sister is in California along with her husband. It is quite a ways for us, though we did manage to fly my daughter there last summer and the one before so that she could learn surfing with her uncle. She loves surfing. Don't get me wrong. I love my house and the land here. I just hate the difficulty I've had just living here. It all happened so fast and I was not at all prepared to go under big time.
Then I just get onmy feet financially and I am going under again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since my sister actually owns the house........in her name since I couldn't get a loan from the credit I had in this country.....which was none....we are going to rent out a room . It doesn't affect my standing with the w/c since the house is my sisters and I am technically renting from her. It isn't earned income.......it isn't my income.......it is my sisters. So I am trying to find someone compatible to have livewith us.

Long story huh????????? What I need, apart from good health, is good friends, and a good man...........my health will get better because I believe God loves me and will provide....my health will get better because I am finding good friends here........and once that is in place.....who knows.
