Sick time

I recently injured my shoulder at my job. I had several Dr visits, xray. MRI and now in PT for next 4 weeks. My boss just told me today that I have to use my sick time for PT appts or get an occurrence (point) for missing work. Is this legal? If I recieve to many points I will be fired. Workmans comp is paying the dr bills, I am on light duty for which my boss only half complies with, I am at work everyday for 10hrs.

I don,t know anything about “Occurance points”. Sounds like an internal demerit system.
You should be allowed to take unpaid leave covered by FMLA . Any negative actions for lost time for treatment would be considered discriminatory and retaliation for filing a comp claim and illegal. Definitely get an atty to warn your employer off ,

Get an FMLA ASAP From your Dr. Some charge for the paper work about 25-35 dollars. Do not let that get you canned, because that point system will eventually run out... DO it asap.
