Out of the blue
Out of the blue the insurance company approved 2 epidural and 2 emg procedures all at 4 different locations this month. Just seems weird that they are moving so fast.
The perception of time is different for each party in the process.
It seems slowest for the worker who has lots of time on their hands to think about pain and their injury. It can seem very fast for an adjuster with 300 claims; each with multiple doctors, lawyers, employers, etc & each wanting something.
Comp lawyers and judges usually have large workloads as well.
So it’s difficult to judge what is fast and what is slow in such a complex process involving so many different players and systems.
