How much say does your employer have to say with how work comp treats you such as benifits, getting tests done for your medical condition , working on light duty, and other issues?  I'am in PA

Depends on the carrier, type of insurance, and size of employer--premium wise.
There is no universal answer.
self-insured employer has the most control.
A very large premium sized  employer-$300k usually gets very strong attention from a carrier.
If the carrier is small, they are even more suseptable to pressure from a very large account.
Workers comp insurance is a business that needs to make a profit same as the employer.
Whatever affects the cost of the claim is going to be important.

or here

most employers are required to post work comp information on employee accessible bulletin board. if the employer has a website the information may be there.
