Spring you inspired me....
I have to tell you that you have inspired me to try and make candles...you were so thrilling with your descriptions of scents and such, and I am a candle freak....so I am trying my hand at making gel candles....I made my first one yesterday "a cherry pie" it turned out soso...but tonight I'm making "cookie jars" with chocolate chip cookies made out of soy wax...I'll let you all know it they turn out...but it is really fun and relaxing...and I figure these might make great christmas gifts, especially with my funds being so low right now...

Crabby that is wonderful....I love to make them. You will find you can do so many different things with the wax. I have worked only with soy wax. But aren't you just amazed with all the different scents that are out there. And you said it...they smell good enough to eat. Before I started making them...I could spend lots of $$$ buying candles...so now I just spend it on making them. The best part of it...is it gives me something to do with my time...and I love to give to others..so I give my candles away and so far everyone has be enjoying them. You & I can kept in touch on how the candle making is going. So have fun...and keep me posted on what you are making. We just finished the candles for the Bingo game...I will be mailing this coming week. It did take me longer then I thought to get them done...but it was fun. Keep in touch.

Spring I worked with the soy last night...didn't do too bad...I'm looking for christmas scents...checked Michaels and hobby lobby, but nothing yet....I don't know why...they have all kinds of christmas decorations !!!
I think since I'm probably going to be doing this fro awhile, I'll check into a distributor, maybe alittle less expensive...Spring I used the soy wax to make little chocolate chips cookies used cake decorations molds/soap molds...and put in freezer so they don't melt when I pour the hot gel wax over them...I have to say they turned out pretty good...I even used the real mini choc.chip morsels...I'm so excited about making them now....but my kitchen looks like a mad scientist lives here....Oh well half the fun...thanks again for inspiring me....once I get a few more made, I'll send all of you a little sample.... no where to hide |

God, I just absolutely love candles.............hmmmmmmmmmmmm smells so good and can't wait to smell yours Spring. I know they will be scrumptous and I will want to eat them. MJC...I will get them all mailed this coming week....We didn't get them made as fast as I thought we would. But they are all done. Just now waiting to make sure they are well set before mailing.
MJC...Don't know that I ever let you know....but I got Tuffy's address. So I will be sending her the scent that she liked so much. She is just so sweet...and helped you in your time of need. And you so much wanted her to have one. But I also promised her you would recieve your winnings. So all is HAPPY. That is what makes me HAPPY. |

That is great, I am so happy you got Tuffy's address. I so wanted to share with her and was truly hoping you would pursue her address. Yes mame, we are all happy campers.
