RE: Need of a Little Time!
Limbo, I am so sorry you are going through even more pain and problems than what you had before. It's not easy when your family is in pain. My husband and I had some really bad problems a couple of years ago, but we are getting better. I am praying that whatever you are going through, God will be with you and your family and He will see you through it! Just know that you are very appreciated and loved by everyone here.

RE: Need of a Little Time!
Thanks Everyone!! I guess I haven't been exactly the easiest Person to deal with lately, and I have been snapping at My Wife and not realizing it! I have been staying with My Son for the Last Five Days, but I will be going Home this Evening! I am going to be very Happy to get Home, and be with My Wife again, I just have to learn not to be so quick to snap, and handle my Anger a bit Better! As I've always told all of You, when I'm right I'll Fight, and when I'm wrong I'll Apologize, and I think this one was All Me!! I think the change in my condition for the worse, along with the change in Meds. may have made me do things I wasn't realizing, and I'm going to Work Hard to try and recognize those things, and change the way I'm doing them! Thanks to ALL OF YOU for the support, and Tomorrow, I'll be at Home, where I belong!! I Hope You all have Pain Free Days, and Nights full of uninterrupted Sleep!!Smile

RE: Need of a Little Time!
Thanks for letting us help you thru....we all know how much you love her....maybe its time she came on also or found her own support group....this (WC)can be so hard to fight with friends I cant imagine going it alone.....Bill sometimes reads something I call his attention to but prefers going out and taking a hammer to something or mowing the back pasture...but for some of us we need to talk it out....or POGO Bill POGOs alot at night when he is working something out in his mind.....

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: Need of a Little Time!
My Wife does come on here and Read the Posts, and they have Helped Her to Better understand this whole situation, and She's a Big POGO Fan!! I renew Her Subscription to POGO Every Christmas as a Part of Her Present. I think We will be Fine, this is a tough Road, w/c, and I don't think any of Us that have been in it for any length of Time haven't had Problems in the Home. This System is designed to cause Unrest and Monetary problems for the Injured Worker and their Families, it's a shame to say, but it's almost Exactly like Dealing with the Mafia, minus the Horse Head in the Bed or the Fish being delivered to Your Door!! They break all the Laws they wish, and they also Break all of the Moral Codes We Hold Dear, in Hopes of Winning, and beating up the Little Guy! What a Shame, a Federal and State Program, put into Place for an Injured Worker, can be soo Corrupt, and allowed to be so! If the Prison System was run like the w/c System, You can bet Your A** there would be less Crime!! O.K., enough Bitc***g, You all have a Great Day, I'm going to watch the Steelers Game with My Son and Grand Son!!

GO STEELERS!!!!!

RE: Need of a Little Time!
Still...Sorry I fell behind with this thread...but never did I quit praying for you and your family. You said it in the last post...wc keeps our lives in so much turmoil that when we are trying to keep our lives together as much to what was normal. It is a constant battle. A battle that wears us down. The sad part is that is just what wc is trying to do. When we need as the injuried is time to spend on us to heal and get all the needed medical care...we end up having to fight and fight. We live in fear all the time of what is the IC going to do next...stop all our benifits. It is just so sad that our lives end up being full of having to fight and fight never let your guard down...there is a PI following you. So when it comes to the ones we love the most....we forgot they are there because the love us...they have done nothing to deserve any of this. I have told my family I am sorry that I am dragging them through this...but then at times after I have been through a major pain flare up...I am just so angery at the whole world...and things have come out of my mouth to the people I love the most. And it is the anger and pain. I also feel that we get that fight and fight mode in our minds....so we are ready for next thing the IC is going to try to do to us...so it's with us all the time. I hate that I am getting that way....It's not me. But I refuse to give in to the IC....I did nothing wrong. But then again our family feel that in us also. The anger and the being on the edge ready to jump when the phone rings and it's the Attorney or the mail comes with a letter that has more information that has us feeling like that criminal so we are ready to put up the wall of defense and start fighting back. When life at home was a safe haven for all. But our families do forget we are home all day and may of been on that phone with the attorney or dealing with that letter....so the minute they walk in that door we want to talk to the person who we love the most....I have had to really teach myself to give all my attention to my hubby as I should. ANd wait to bounce on him with all the BS of WC. But it really is eating me up inside....because that is what they are wanting to do to us. Still I am saying this because I know what you are saying. My hubby is my best friend and the love of my life. But wc can take a toll on every aspect of your life. PLEASE come here and vent and scream when things are just to much....we will listen and understand that you got to get it off your chest. Your wife would like for you to do it here to. It is just a crying shame this has to happen to any of us...all because we did our jobs. I will say is again...even sadder....That we allow it to happen in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

Spring:

That was an excellant post and I agree with you so much. You said it perfectly. Limbo please do as Spring suggested and get on here and releive your frustrations or PM one of us if you prefer, before you say something that you'll regret later. Been there and done that. It will be hard with all the changes going on for you, with your meds. and all, but try for your sake and your families sake. Words do hurt, and sometimes we don't realize just how much. I'm glad things are looking better for you. We are all here if and when you need us.

Take care
Vickie
