you always can see any doctor you prefer at your own expense at any time.
you can also switch to any doctor within the Medical Provider Network at any time.

any doctor can give an opinion.
I can't predict the behavior any one in particular.
You can always call and ask them.

Since you have a denied work comp claim you can use your private insurance or pay cash. I recommend finding a doctor who will fill out that form. Do you have a family doctor you see regularly? If so ask him to fill it out. You can also ask your work comp doctors office if you can pay cash to see him to fill out that form. It is up to them. You can also ask your attorney if he knows of a doctor who will see you on a lien (long shot).
I am not an attorney.Anything I write should not be considered legal advice.I am writing from my own personal experiences, which is not from any sort of legal background. You should consult with an attorney over legal issues. In California, if you cannot get an attorney you can consult with an I&A officer.

Hi Everyone. I just have a question Again. Its been 3 months now since I was Injured at work.

My claim was denied by the company insurance. I hired a lawyer and he filled a case. Now I am seing my primary doctor and he put me on light duty till I get better. My company dont accept light duty, so Im still off work.

My question is what are the chances that I still get to work for them or are they waiting for me to comeback to work and then terminate me? Since I hired a lawyer and He filed a case against them.

If your employment is covered by The Family and Medical Leave Act you have 12 weeks of job protection before you can be replaced.

Beyond that they do not have hold or create a job for you.

i have no idea whether they want you back enough to give you a job; every employer is different.
Most employers replace the absent worker and move on.
