It makes you wonder what they really want you to do....they're amazing...I was in a rush the other day, and I put an english muffin in the toaster and ran to brush teeth, I came back tothe kitchen and the toaster was empty....and both dogs were on the couch, licking their chops...yes my Theo is a food freak....too...he's usually the culprit when food is missing...if I open the refrigerator door, he'll stand there looking inside for something, I often wonder what he would do if I left the room and the door open...Hekaya is a different kind of thief...she takes everything too that's not nailed down... but important stuff, like the tv remote, money blankets, shoes....she hasn't chewed any of it thank goodness (except the money) but it gets annoying searching for stuff, and I'm thinking to myself I know it was just here....

Those stories were so funny. Our beagle likes to dig holes and lay in them, if you give him a bone, he'll bury it and dig it up later and chew on it EEEEEwwww.
One time my ex-husband had his slippers on the back porch, when he went for them they weren't there. Sure enough as he looked thru the yard, he seen the toe part of one sticking out of the ground. He dug them up and threw them away. I guess Rocky wanted to save them for later or just thought they smelled bad, lol.

Have a great day all
Vickie
