Anybody out there have botox injections for severe muscle spasms?

ABSOLUTLY!!! I had facet joint injections to my neck disc and ended up with massive headaches. I almost killed myself driving one morning to work as i ran out of aleve and took Nyquil, thinking it was the dayquil pills and almost fell asleep at the wheel. Thank god i hit a barrier and it woke me up. I cried all the way to work after. My headaches were constant!!!!
The neurologist ordered me botox through the insurance co. and gave me two injections right into the side of my neck, low down to the muscles on top of the shoulder that connect to the neck. They were soooooo tight, and it was causing the headaches. As soon as he injected me with the botox, i walked out of there feeling like a new woman. I strongly suggest you get that done, it does a world of good to loosen it up. GO FOR IT!!!!! Good luck. carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD. 1/29/07 injury date. Permanent.
