RE: Some moving on :( :)
Having read your statement......I do find myself curious to know what he did with the proceeds from the film on the health system. I know many do not like the man, but he did present a very credible case of what the system lacks....and who gets to shoulder the losses........we do. Anyone who has or has not, is still a victim of the health insurance companies. And they do absolutely make a profit from the sick and injured. If they can't count on any profit then they don't cover......simple.

I do hope that you get someone who can work with what you need. I don't know if the problems you have, but them seem very bad indeed. I don't know enough about these types of injuries to make any real comment. I know that I get a lot of pain, and that I am confused as to whether I can or will be better one day. Might be better not to know I am thinking. You take care.

RE: Some moving on :( :)
It was nice to hear from you, when you are in so much pain, I'm sorry you have to stay confined over the weekend....I agree with you as far as some national organization, or march...don't know how to get everyone together tho.... I've heard tho this is not the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last to try and get us organized and heard....it is a constant battle, but with the help of God, I'm sure it will start to go in our favor....prayers have begun to be answered,we just got to keep it up... hang in there...and I will say a prayer for you and all on this forum....take care

RE: LEAVING ON A JET PLANE DONT KNOW WHEN ?
flippin out

get your butt back here - your not allowed to leave like that - nope nope nope - so sorry bud. Not going to happen. What would I do with out you popping in every now and then? I mean now it's not just me and you and BB with Tos - we also have Cap that has tos (most likely) - we got to help her ya know.

I know you've had a hard time with the rsd stuff and I so wish all of those with that just didn't have it or that the IC wouldn't play their games with you all so that you got the treatment that you needed without making you suffer more.

You ever need an ear to bend - you know where mine is.

RE: LEAVING ON A JET PLANE DONT KNOW WHEN ?
Once again I am compelled to add my thoughts, and I recognize this statement may not be a popular one. We recognize that thousands of people have come and gone on this board over the last 8 years. As I stated in a previous post, most just slowly "fade away" as their situations change and they move on. The trend to announce the departure, either with or without explanation, seems to be a fairly recent phenomenon (and actually returning to "bump up" your departure announcement is brand new).

I suspect that some, not necessarily all, of these departure announcements may have some self serving motivations, and I do not believe they are the best for the board overall. I get concerned when I place myself in the shoes of a "first timer" who comes in here and reads multiple posts that essentially say "I'm outta here". It could potentially discourage their continued involvement and result in them being denied the very support and assistance everyone else has found here.

You may note that people who announce their departure have a tendency, statistically speaking, to return, either under their old name or a new one. I understand that individuals have many complex issues that may lead them to what may be attention getting actions, but my job is to be concerned with the appearance, function and effectiveness of this board.

I also take severe exception to the notion that this board is closely monitored by people looking to trace injured workers and use this information against them. There are over 16,000 injuries in this country each and every day. Most adjusters are overwhelmed with their workload, and I do not believe for a moment that anyone has the time or inclination to try to decipher who a particular poster may be. Again I say, just be honest, and you will be fine. Besides, we do not support liars here. Fraud casts a shadow on all legitimate injured workers.

To come here and benefit from this board and then try to discourage others from using it by frightening them is not an action I can support.

So, if you are new to this board, please understand that many come and go here. There are wonderful people here of all stripes and experience who will be more than willing to help and support you. It has been an ongoing tradition for 8 years now.
