Settling case through Mediation?

RE: Settling case through Mediation?
Good Morning All...

Chris...Thanks for the support. They will never be able to pressure me into anything. Hubby and I have a bottom line that we will take and that is it. Or we go to court. Everything I read on our state page makes you fear you might get nothing in the end...but I believe there are fair honest people left in the system. In someways I wish our stories were told in more of a public court room setting. It seems like everything for WC is done behind closed doors...so the public never hears all the stories.

My head will be held high...I have no reason to hang it low. Unless the pain is so out of control. Then my head will be on the table. Will talk with my Dr about that in advance...maybe he can see me earlier that day....if I need an injection he will have already on the schedule. You know Chris...it is not holding my head it is like today...just since I have sat down to type this...it has taken me over 35 minutes to do it...my concentration is awful some days...I just look at things and I can't stay focused at what I am doing...same with conversations...it is aweful. So I hope I don't have that kind of day...on mediation day.So must keep a postive outlook. And with you all here supporting me....I will fight for myself. I have to know. My family has been through so much....and I say to myself NO MORE. My attorney has been good...he knows what he is doing..I have trust in him..My hubby has been my rock through all of this...I have to now STAND UP for our future...and fight.

Okay...I just can't think and put words together.

Sweet..Prayers are always needed...Thank you, You are always one we can count on...to be supportive you know as I sit there I will think of you all. truley hope and ask God to please help me let all of this end so we can move on and have peace in our lives. Wish this for all of us here.

RE: Settling case through Mediation?
Great Attitude Spring!! I can't remember who or where I was told this, but it makes a Lot of Sense, and I've looked back on it many Times. "The Only Person who can Ever Beat You is You"!! I always took that to mean by being Prepared and acting and Learning instead of re-acting to a situation already developed, no one can get the Upper Hand on You! By being Prepared, with the right Attitude and Knowledge of what You're about to Deal with, there is No Way they can come up on Top, because You won't Allow It!!! Whether You Settle or Not Spring, You are Prepared, Your Attitude is Great, and in the Long Run You Will Come Out on Top!! Go Get 'Em Tiger!!!Wink

Failed Back Surgery, Chronic Pain, Totally Disabled.

Knowledge is Power, Especially in the World of w/c. Learn as Much as You can about Your States w/c Laws, and don't Fight Battles alone, They Use Attorney's, and so Should You!!

RE: Settling case through Mediation?
Hi all...spring I am so proud of you. That was a great post and Still thank you for giving it praise. You are all speaking of being proactive versus reactive. Proactive means you are in charge or in other words you are prepared. Reactive means you react to what the IC or lawyers tell you. Always be prepared in everything in life..love you all... Carol

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.
