A busy June and Preparing for surgery in July
#1
June has been a busy month for two reasons. First, I run a summer program for disabled children which is funded by two grants I write in the fall. This year we have two locations, with five teachers and one speech pathologist working with the 105 disabled or as risk children. Hard to believe we are already entering the third week. of the program with next week will be the final week of the program.

The second reason June has been busy is I have getting all my ducks in order to prepare for surgery. The pre-op test are scheduled as week as physical therapy for the two weeks following surgery.
This will be another knee surgery, my sixth. This time I have torn the medical meniscus and lateral meniscus as well as the ACL. Don't know how many tears I can have before a knee replacement is needed.

The surgeon for the upper extremities tells me I am to use a walker then a cane this time, no crutches due to problems with the shoulders.

Bummerknees, Good luck with your upcoming surgery. I hope it provides you with some relief.

I am not an attorney.Anything I write should not be considered legal advice.I am writing from my own personal experiences, which is not from any sort of legal background. You should consult with an attorney over legal issues. In California, if you cannot get an attorney you can consult with an I&A officer.

Thank you CA. I hope to prevent additional damage with that knee and put off the total knee replacement. The TKR I had on the other knee per the work comp injury did not go well.
