I grew up with bikes also, my dad had a Indian and Hill Climbed, then when married we had a Harley, was riding when 7 months PG and my OB/GYN had a fit and I had to stop riding LOL He was a party pooper!!!!!!!!!

Both of my sons have bikes and ride,. My sisters hubby repairs and restores Harleys.

My mom had a leg injury, didn't let it stop her from ridding.

Had a crutch fastened to one side of her bike and used it when she stopped at a light.

Wasn't going to let an injury stop her from doing something she loved.

When she died, we parked her bike with leather jacket by the front door of the church.

My mom was one of a kind.

I didn't have one, but my brothers did ...honda's...they had more mishaps than you can count on one hand!!!...one lost the other off the back in the middle of intersection...he landed on his feet, and not to feel or look stupid he started directing traffic...then 3 of my brothers had the bikes lined up in front of the house, and my 4th brother missed the driveway and hit the first, and knocked all of them down...I guess that's when they decided to get rid of them..good thing too.my life was never boring that's for sure!!!!!!

Being the daughter of motorcycle mechanics, saftey was the drill. If I see someone without a helmet or boots riding they get a lecture from me.

We have a christian motorcycle club here in our areaand they are a great bunch , always doing things as a group, camping riding etc. and my neighbors he and she both have bikes and ride just about every night.
