RE: ok feel like im gonna breakdown
lots of repetative injuries are found by going thru your normal docs thats not a problem...you done what your HR said to do you went thru your docs once doc said WC injury you went thru them....its not that big a deal....it happens alot
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: ok feel like im gonna breakdown
Mel...Whether you told them or not that you had already had treatment through your personal health insurance is not the issue. They CAN and probably WILL find out that you gave them false info or concealed info. I did post to you somewhere that there are various reasons for an IC to deny a claim. Mine was denied because my immediate supervisor was mad at me the day before. I wish you the best of luck, but just want you to be prepared for anything that could possibly happen. This claim started out with a lie. I hope it doesn't hurt you in the long haul. I'm going to bow out now as I don't think I can help you anymore. Sorry. CAP God is never late. In the end it doesn't matter how many years were in your life but how much life was in your years. |

RE: ok feel like im gonna breakdown
It is ALWAYS best to disclose everything that has occured regarding your injury, from DAY 1, whether you were treated by your own insurance or not. It doesn't matter. If it is industrial, and an accepted claim, your WC insurance will go back and pay for all medical from your date of injury. It is very important that you have put the correct date of injury on your claim form.
If you lie and try and cheat the system, you will be found out. I have no sympathy for anyone who does this. Don't put the blame on anyone else. Make an appointment with your psychiatrist and get some counseling. Let Go, and Let God...... |

RE: ok feel like im gonna breakdown
All the more reason to hire an attorney...remember HR guy works for company!!!! do not just rely on his word, you need protection for whenthe games begin, and it is starting, you want someone with experience...you can't do this alone....you grp insurance will go after wc for payment regarding the MRI and such since it is work related....please make the next call to an attorney...there is nothing to fear from him...(unless he doesn't know what he's doing)get a referral from a friend or what all the others on this forum have suggested...on how to find an attorney...I didn't have much luck with the first guy I hired...but now I think I finally found someone who can take the pressure off me alittle and get down to business....let us know when you get the attorney will you?
