RE: Red needs US!
Dear Red - God is good and he does indeed hear our prayers. Please know that I will be praying for your grand daughter, I hope you will keep us informed of what is going on. I am so happy that your dear hubby does not have cancer. Please let us know what kind of treatment he may have to undergo so that we can say prayers for that as well.
I hope you know now that oyu can share most anything with us. We do care what kind of dsy you are having, whether the MS is acting up or whether you are having a good day or a bad day. We are here for you regardless of which type of day you are having. Often times letting us know will slightly lift the burden from your shoulders and you are not being negative by letting us know what is going on with you. We all have medical problems and we can all share them here whether it is WC related or not...that's what families do and that's what we are here for. Please don't feel as though you can't share what is going on with you here. We love you and want to know what's going on whether it be good or bad. I hope that all made sense because I am exhausted and took a valium as well...I'm yawning so big that my eyes are seing double Love ya and huge hugs to you and hubby, monster Please click the link below to help provide food for homeless animals. RE: Red needs US!
Red that is such good news to hear everything went okay. There is still a long road ahead but you and hubby can conquer it with the strong will i see in your emails. I did just learn something from your last email here that you have MS. I just want you to know that my father 25 yrs ago passed away with MS. He did not die from the MS, but a clot to the lung when he sat on the exam table at the doctors. He was 44 and i was 13. They have come a long way with medicines to help people with MS.
Last thing i remember my father saying to me as a little girl before he passed on was that they were comming with the wheeler chair and he said he would NEVER use one. Well the day after he died they came with it. Sometimes people need that to get around and live their life, but i knew what he meant by it. My brother in law now has MS also. My poor sister has been through hell with MS surrounding her life. He is doing very well and is a dentist. He is almost ready to retire to their home on a island in Florida, but he is working all the way up to when he cannot anymore. I also contribute to the MS funds all the time and keep informed of up to date medicines that they have come up with. I am also going to be starting next week building a biotech drug building that makes products for people who are ill and they make medicines. Some are medicines for asthma etc. I will do anything to help get them to find a cure for MS and all these other diseases. I wish you the best to you and your hubby. carpal tunnel recurrence/ neuropathy / RSD. 1/29/07 injury date. Permanent. PIR settlement 8/4/08 10% |

RE: Red needs US!
Sparkey...what can I say to you that you have not already lived with the loss of your father at such a young age. You are right in that MS does not cause death. People with MS die from the results of MS, not MS itself. Thank you for your kind words. A lot has happened with MS treatment that makes a world of difference for people like me. And I like you brother in law worked until I absoultely could not anymore which happened in May 2005 My last day at work was as normal as anyother day on May 24, 2005. Then the next day I am in the hospital due to an excerbation of MS. I was a director of Nursing and health care administrator both licensed here in NJ. I loved my job, and just as many here have had to go through, I went through a really rough time, accepting the fact that I was not going to go back to work. Depression hit terribly and I just stopped living. Then one day I found all of you and well the rest is history. I am so sorry about the loss of your dad at such a young age.
Still again..you are the best. You have been such an inspiration to me while I was reading your story, it kept my mind off of what was happening with my husband but it also gave me hope. You have been through so much and you still come out flying high... you truly have the appropriate avatar. The other day I was searching for avators and I found an article that was actually critiquing a research that had been done centering on how people choose their avators that they use for sites such as this one. It was rather interesting, because their findings suggested that unconsciously people pick avators that they feel best suits their personalities. I feel that you have done well in picking your avatar, because it does fit your personality in that, you are above it all in terms of allowing what life throws at you to bring you down. I have no doubt that you have moments when you are home a lone that you want to ask "why me" or pick up something and just crash it against a wall, or maybe crawl into your bed and never come out. But you my dear friend, won't for long, because you continue to fly above it, and come out living ....the best that you can with that awlful pain and the knowledge of what is happening to you with your spine. I heart crys at the insanity of it all, but my brain says you are our flying penguin of justice and you will succeed. You will arise above it all and say, this too shall pass...I will live each day ....to its fullest. You just said all that and so much more. As you know, as Lilly said, I too want to meet you and feel that we will meet. i will not allow us to move to Oregon wtih a stop to say hi some how some where. To everyone else, I don't know what to say except I love you all. You are a god sent to me, I feel like the luckiest person in the world to know you, and thank you. Thank you for everything. I slept very well last night, and I noticed that my husband wroke up with just alittle less of a burden on his face. We are so happy right now...he has always been there for me thought thick and thin and he is just the best also...thank you...love you Red Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. |
