Need Halloween Help !!!

Every year I dress up like a witch for Halloween and the kids just love it. We also decorate the entry way with spider web material and 2 stuffed toys that we say were bad little kids that I changed into a stuff vampire and scarecrow.

Well with my sign out front that says "Spells 50 cents" I figured this year I would hand out spell bags to the kids. Now I live in a town where I have kids of all ages trick and treating - so kids from the age of a few months all the way up to high school students.

So what I need is the end results of the spells to put in the bags ......

i.e. be a good kid and listen to your parents.
Grow up big and strong


However, I need more than that and since I don't know if a boy or girl will get the bag they need to be generic.

As far as age goes - normally the kids that are older - i.e. 13+ I give them full size candy bars so theirs will be easy to tell apart from the younger kids - so if you have some for the older kids make sure you mark them 13+ group.

Pooh that sounds like so much fun!!! I live in the woods on 9 acres. My driveway is 400ft long...LOL not one kid comes to my house for Halloween. WAAAAAAAAAA!! Where i use to live in the city i had hundreds of kids. I use to go through about 13 bags of candy and that is just giving one piece to each kid. Now i don't even buy candy as i live so far in the woods noone wants to walk down my driveway. LOL.

My birthday is Oct. 30th a half hour before halloween. I am a real treat!! LOL My kids always call me a witch. GO FIGURE!

Last year started out slowly until word got around. There are only a couple houses on our block that were occupied at that time so we figured we may not get many - but were prepared just in case. Once word got around - I had a hard time eating dinner without getting up every couple of minutes to answer the door. So by the end of the night I went through about 10 bags of candy.

So we figured that the spell bags would be a treat for the kids - and I already have the plastic bugs to go in the bags ........ hehehe - so it will just be adding the candy and the spell slip to it. Oh and I found some candy filled coffins and things like that I can use as well in each bag ........

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sounds like so much fun. I'am like Sparkey and live in the country and no kids, except for the grands, and a couple of neighbors . My next door neighbor came trick or treating last year ,dressed as a ghost and asked for a Bud Lite lol

Halloween is my 8 yr old son's favorite time of year.

He would take Halloween over Christmas any day, and he wants us to turn our home into a haunted house. I told him maybe he can turn his bedroom into a haunted room.

I sooooooooooo love Halloween! Back in England it was so totally frowned on. I remember it just started to take off just before I came over here, but everyone who wanted to be involved had to put a notice on their door. Otherwise the villagers were worried that the elderly would die of fright! Its true. But when you think that they had never had any Halloween before it could happen I guess.


What a wonderful person you are to put so much effort into it for the kiddies. I will try to think on this one and ask my daughter and her friends as well. Are you looking for the spell itself or the spell along with the end result? Or just the end result.

I thinnk I will go and rent that film that had Bette Midler in. Can't remember the name for the life of me. One of those days I think.
