RE: Volunteer

Oh Grundig....I am so happy for you. For awhile now I have been saying that since I can probably never work again I need to keep busy. Not ready yet but volunterring was the direction I was going in. I am so glad this is rewarding for you. How could it not be? I have done some searches on volunteer work in the USA and one that sticks with me is Domestic Abuse. A little training is needed but there are 10 different areas to volunteer in. Oh, I'm sure my SPCA needs help also. Good luck. Enjoy as much of it as you can.

Awwww Grundig, YOU must be a very kind soul.
Only special people watch over the poor animals that can't fend for themselves or are in desperate need of assistance.
I commend you, over & over! So do all the stray/discarded cats & dogs in this world.

Hi Grundig, I've been wondering where you were. It's good to have you back and I love that you are helping animals. I hate to see an animal unwanted or in pain. Thank you!

grundig

Been missing your post lately, glad to see you are back.

Volunteer work gives an individual personal rewards that no other work can and often volunteer work will lead to a paid job, this has happened to me with several jobs I have held.

Being a 4-H family the Human Society is an appreciate organization.

I volunteered for United Way 25 hrs weekly previous to my accident. This year I am going to assist with the local Untied Way Campaign.

RE: Volunteer
Grundig...What a way to give back to your community...and to the little guy and gals that just can't speak out for them selves. You are a godsend to each and everyone of them. We are also animal lovers. In fact a few weeks back my hubby took a friend over to the humane Society to look for a dog...when they came back he looked at me and said he was really glad I didn't go....that I would of loaded them all up and brought them home to love. My whole family our that way. I will never understand how people get these pets and abuse them...or just dump them off. But then we have people in our world like you that give uncontional love and time to care for them. Bless your heart...and I will say THANK YOU from all your new furry friends for your help.

RE: Volunteer
What a wonderful thing you are doing Grundig. On behalf of the many dogs and kitties you are saving "thank you." These little precious furry ones do not deserve the abuse they receive. Housing is so expensive out here...often times when a person has to move and they have pets, they will dump them in the desert rather than pay another large pet deposit. It is so sad. Thank you do much for helping the little guys. I also know it can be a heart wrenching job at times, so please take care and know that what you are doing truly makes a difference in so many ways.

hugs,
