Back to the doctor

Back to the doctor
I had two doctor appointments scheduled this week.
One is the doctor that did the epidural and the other is my family physican.

When I looked at the appointment card for Tuesday's appointment it said, driver need. Thinking that odd I called the doctor and learned I was scheduled for another epidural. I then told the nurse that I was on an antibiotic for a sinus infection and gave her the name of the medication. The appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for two weeks. This will be my 4th steriod injection since January and not once have I been questioned about previous injections.

I see my medical doctor Thursday and will question him about the risk of so may injections. I also will questions him about the risk of contrast with MRI & CT Scans.

My medical doctor is getting involved in my work comp case, he is furious I have gone almost two years without treatment and supports my taking action in court to seek treatment. My attorney has written my doctor a letter requesting a statement from him.

We will see where this goes Thursday.

Bummer..there is so much happening in your life .... I wish I could help you some how, but all I can do is let you know that I have an ear and that I care about what is happening in your life. And as always, my prayers are going up on your behalf... Thank you for being so brave.... Red

RE: Back to the doctor
Thanks Red & Lilly

There has been a lot going on in my life lately as with everyone on this board. I am excited as I do believe my family doctor, will go to bat for me to recieve medical treatment. He does not like work comp and says they are full of bull. This doctor has treated me for 17 years and has never treated me or refered me to a doctor for treatment of my knees.
Also he is the one treating me for my back.

Now for some GREAT NEWS, I am going to be a GRANDMA again.
My son just called and said they are expecting and the baby is due in the spring. I have a grandaughter that is five.
