Update on re-evaluation appt.
My husband had his re-evaluation appt today. His lawyer was not present but workers comp was there. They went over my husbands injuries and asked him how much he wanted to settle and close his case.:rolleyes:My husband said he needed to talk to his lawyer regarding money but that he DID NOT want to close his case. He wants it open for life. He called his lawyer after the appointment and his lawyer said that they will try to get a court date set ASAP. My husband is still stuck on the freeway in some awful traffic so I have only had a couple minutes to talk to him.

FYI
the lawyers fee is more if there is a lump sum settlement rather then open medical.
Shy

P.S. if they knew your husband had an attorney it is unethical to try and negotiate a settlement directly with a represented client.

Well I know they know my husband has a lawyer. Anyhow, My huband has been stuck on the freeway for over 2 hours now and he is no where near home. I'll get more information from him when he gets home.
