why can they do that?
Why can an employer talk bad about me to other employees saying I am not really hurt even though the MRI shows a herniated disc and the Doctor says I need surgery. I don't think its right to talk down about someone that got hurt on your watch? None of the people working there want to go on the record about what he is saying but call and tell me how he is bad mouthing me. You would think there would be some way to make him stop....any idea's?

RE: why can they do that?
hurt medic - A/b a week after I was out it was the same thing w/ me. I showed up to pick up my check and they were all making fun of the way I walked and saying oh its just a pulled muscle, etc. Then 1 week later I got an email stating I was fired due to I cannot give a return date back to work.. This came the day after my employer finally called in my W/C claim he waited almost 2 weeks b/4 he did, and he called me and said I've turned it into w/c remember they have control over your claim and I have control over your job.. The next day I got the email... I mean what kind of person fires someone via email?? Just tell your attorney and go from there ( if you have one) I got one the day after I was hurt b/c when I asked a/b turning it in to W/C he stated he was going to see if I get better in a few days first..

Good luck

Instead of worrying about what people are saying (which unless you were there) you realy don't know if its true. Use your energy to heal yourself. I believe that takes priority.

8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. Jesus died for our sins. Soilders died for our freedom.

You can't control another's actions - look at our prisons.
The employer like any gossip is damaging their own reputation more than yours.
If you can stop him then he can stop you from posting about him.
Neither is good for an open society.

Let him know it bothers you and move on; better to ignore the childish behavior.

RE: why can they do that?
yes AQA & 1171 are both correct. As i just let mine go and decided my health was more important than someone negative....

I do hope all is well...
