Just a thought here, if this turns otu to be bad deal, why not just leave the money where it is for the next time someone's power is getting cut off or such?

That would be fine with me, but if we do that someone else will need to take over. With school and everything I might not be here everyday and I don't want to tie up these funds just because I might not have time to be here, especially if it's some kind of emergency. There is always S S as well...

Many people have donated so it would be up to them. I am willing to do this, but we need to all agree on a member who has the time to take on the responsibility...
