Rhinelander Hodag Country Festival.
It's that time of year again, 9 days of loud music and the smell of wood smoke... I swear the people that are comming here have lost thier marbles, the campers were comming in 2 wide on a 2 lane rd... We are only 4 1/2 miles from town but darn near took an hour to get there.. Our property a-joins the over-flow camping area, thank god there is a 10ft fence between us.. The over-flow part is known for the roudy crowds and all night partying. The gates opened yesterday at 6 am, the bands dont start playing until the begining of the week and I bet I can count over 300 rv's and campers/tents already... Its going to be a good turn out and profits for our sllowly dying town......

RE: Rhinelander Hodag Country Festival.
you need to find a way to make a few bucks from it
;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....

RE: Rhinelander Hodag Country Festival.
I thought about using my second lot and back field for parking.. They charge $6 a day to park and $16 for the 3 day weekend events... The only problem is they will need transported back to the gates to get in.. Unless a cut a door way through the fence, but I dont think Jay would like that...(one of the owners)

RE: Rhinelander Hodag Country Festival.
then sell fire wood, cold drinks or cookies munchies of any kind if they are like my campers here once they set up they dont want to move and will pay twice what something is worth just to have it brought to them.our trash guy makes a fortune.Last fall Daniel made money on firewood he couldnt sell it here but he could accept tips he had it tied in bundles and they could take what they wanted and tip or not....some didnt but most did...
