RE: Late Benefit Check
@ heynow - I know exactly what you mean a/b the saving acct. I'm currently getting 66 2/3's of my old pay, BUT..... I was also getting my insurance paid by the company as well prior to getting hurt and a guarantee on my bonus as well, in which now I'm not getting either one.. No insurance and no bonus.... I wonder if there is a way that they would / should have to pay me the more I think a/b it... It was part of my pay / agreement to work there...
@ awcurl I hope all works out for you... I too live in TN and from what I've read around a/b our laws are TOTALLY different than all other states... |

My company did the same as well, although my insurance contribution was minimal at best. My curveball is my company got rid of me while I was/am on comp. They really screwed me after 16 years. they got rid of me with a layoff claiming they re-structured the department. I was the only one let go. |

RE: Late Benefit Check
@ heynow - I know the feeling, I was also fired exactly 2 weeks after my injury.. My employer took over a week to call mine injury in. Just a big mess...

RE: Late Benefit Check
It appears that a computer glitch somehow caused my name to fall of the system resulting in no check. Not sure how that happens but I was assured my check will be mailed today.

RE: Late Benefit Check
In that case you should get a late payment penalty too. If your bonuses were on the books they should be factored in as well too.

RE: Late Benefit Check
I think the late penalty starts at 14 days late in PA.
