RE: Prayers for Undercover Angel
Thanks for the prayers y'all. Surgery went smoothly and I was home shortly after 2 in the afternoon. The anathesiologist was good at his job and the last thing I remember before waking up in recovery was him injecting something into my IV and him and the nurse began wheeling me out of my pre-op room. I didn't even see my ortho Dr the 14th.

I am in a bandage/half cast from just below my knuckles to almost my shoulder and have to remain so until I get the stitches out on the 25th. Don't know what I will have after that. I've already gotten some of the feeling back in my fingers, instead of the numbness that had been there for months. There is some pain, but I have been able to keep it to a minimum with the hydrocodone 10/325 1-2 every 4-6 hours as needed along with the meds pain management has me on for RSD/CRPS.

Funny thing though. Since the surgery, I have developed three very painful spots I didn't have prior to. One on my right temple, one along my right lower jawline and the last on my left upper chest. They aren't as sore today as they were to begin with, so I am hoping they will disappear as quickly as they appeared.

Hoping to still come back from our trip to MO through KS so we can stop and visit with you BK. Would probably be the 8th. We will have both pups with us, so have to find hotels that are pet friendly. Will know more after I see the Dr on the 25th and when he will want to see me again. I have an appointment on the 11th with pain management so going to shoot for same day and see ortho on way home from PM.

Arm is getting tired, so time to go and lay down for a bit. Once again, thanks for all the prayers.

My friend if I give you no other advice it's this, circular acupuncture. Draw circles around the area of discomfort or pain. About a quarter in diameter, pressure to where you can stand it. Deeper with the pressure if it helps. Sing the ABC song while doing it. Some people sing the song both ways and swear by it. It's a modification of pressure acupuncture and it does help.

Wishing and praying you well, happy thoughts along with the prayers.
