RE: Steroid Injections
Does anyone know if its normal that they space the shots out that far? I thought they would do them kinda close together to get a "maximum" effect?

RE: Steroid Injections
I had no side effects with my injections and they were spaced two months apart.

RE: Steroid Injections
I had mine once a week for 3 weeks, my doctor did them before they were approved, but from what i understood each round of shots has to be approved separately, that could be the delay. My doc said once the first round was approved she would do the rest because she had dealt with my ins comp many times and knew they would pay, and she said the shots are more successful a week apart. I think they're waiting for approval

I guess that must be why the dr is wanting to do so late to see if spacing far apart does any good.

It normally only takes a day at max for a approval for anything. Ordered an MRI and got approved next day, same thing with the shots and everything else they've done so far. I can say they are fast to respond when asked to..
