I want to legally change my first & middle names

It might sound silly at age 54 but I've hated my first name almost all of my life and I detest that I don't have a middle name.

No middle name just an initial 'E'. Do you know how hard that is signing legal documents that ask for your full name?

I applied for a job at a convenience store just over 3 weeks ago which I got. During the interview, form signing, training class and then the first day of work I must of been asked 30+ times to put down my full middle name. Then I had to explain to each and every person why. Five different times in class I got forms back telling me to sign my middle name.

Being ridiculed as a kid because my dad told a guy that my middle name was actually Egghead, my future husband shortened it to Eggy, which is okay. My husband thinks it's silly but it's something that has bothered me for a long, long time. The first two days of actual work I was called Joann more than I was called my actual given first name. Excuse me, look at the badge, it says 'Joan'.

I want my name changed, Joanna Elizabeth, I've wanted that name since I was about 8 years old. So am I being silly?

my older sisters name was Joan but pronouced joann.My best friend Clara has no middle name just an initial she said her mother never wasted a thing in her life even letters.But you are a grown woman and if you have the money and you want to do it go for it.....My youngest daughter is Shaelynn Elizabeth so I like the name....go for it
