Work injury in FL, please help
I got head injury at work about seven months ago. I took ST and MRI scan. they are normal. I still get pain on my head and headache all the time. yesterday my lawyer called and asked me for settlement. they offer $1500 for settlement. my lawyer said he can't ask more than that. he said if i don't want that offer, i'll get zero money. he can't do nothing with my case. my case is done. what am i gonna do with $1500 while my head still hurt and headache. Please help me, what am i going to do now? thanks

RE: Work injury in FL, please help
Have you had an MRI of the neck, cervical spine. An injury of the cervical spine would cause the headaches.

RE: Work injury in FL, please help
you can change attys at any time.
in order to get additional treatment you need the supporting opinion of a doctor.
with that evidence you can get a decision from the judge

What did they look at on the MRI and CT Scan? Was it only your head or what?

IMO, Your only choice is to try and change Attorney's. The problem is can you get a 2nd Attorney on board. You will have to have a strong case for this AND the 2nd Attorney will generally have to split the settlement with the 1st Attorney.

Good Luck. Sometimes it is hard to accept that a WC case pays so little in a settlement unless you are PTD and even then you will not get Rich.

Are you working now? What is your age? What type of Head Injury happened to you?

Good Luck
