RME ( Required Medical Examination)
I recently recieved an impairment check from my insurance carrier about two weeks ago, now two weeks later I recieved a letter from The Texas Department of insurance, approving a RME request from my insurance. What does this mean! They already paid me all the backpay in a lump sum check. Can they take this money back? I thought that the Designated Dr. in TX held presumptive weight! Does the state appointed DD Dr. still hold presumptive weight in this situation?

RE: RME ( Required Medical Examination)
sorry i don't know much about your situation.
things change; medical conditions change.
one medical opinion doesn't last for all times, all, issues, or all situations.

RE: RME ( Required Medical Examination)
In my mind they are attempting to position themselves to dispute part if not all of the impairment rating.

Either party can challenge the DD findings.
