I had a long talk with my Dr he has always been truthful with me.Yes I have a hi pain tolerance it has come from years of this pain but My Dr also explained to me that I will get used to pain meds and need a higer dose if I take them all the time my body will get used to them and they wont work as well....I use many methods of pain control not just narcs and once meds have been taken I dont drive....never would I take even the smallest chance that my meds would cause an accident...I know you been on them for years and your Dr says you are just fine but answer me this...if it breaks the pain what else does it break in your mind .....I would never be able to live with the quilt if my meds caused an accident that took a life or caused someone else pain....So I wont do it its a small enough price to pay in my mind....I dont drive much at all anyhow Pain clouds my judgement...so I am a passenger most of the time.
