isnt life grand
We have been fighting to save our home since last fall.. With the breakdowns of the wifes work truck it has absorbed any profits and now we are 3 behind on the house.. We have 1 week to make another payment before they start forclosing... I have been waiting for my ppd check and is 1 week late.. I can check the wc ins web site to see when the check is processed, and as of yesterday it hasnt.. I cant legaly talk to my adjuster, but my attorney allows my wife to contact her.. She claims I have all been paid and been over paid by $300, In my figures they still owe close to $7,000.. My attorney called her and said they have made a mistake and wants an itemized statements since feb of last year.... So now I sit and wait, I will be able to sell stuff to make the payment but without ppd checks it will be the same way next month.... Hope fully, fingers crossed the ssdi will be aproved soon...

Oh Bronco I am so sorry I have been there so I know how scared and helpless you feel.My lawyer contacted a place that loaned us 4000 till we settled I had to pay back 5 but it saved our farm....will be praying for you

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

I don't know if this is nationwide but I saw it advertised that if you dial 2-1-1, which is united way, they may be able to help. A local church may help pay your utility bill or buy you groceries. I know mine does if there is a need.

Check with your local chamber of commerce to see if they know of any local help agencies.

And then there is always family, if you have that option.

Hope tomorrow is a brighter day.

Let Go, and Let God......

Prayers my friend, hopefully things will work out, not easy sitting there, wondering, worrying. Pray your SSDI will be approved soon as well.

Hang in there

RE: isnt life grand
Thanks gang,

I have been in tough situations before, and have managed to get out from under them.. This time its a double hit and all at the same time.. But things got better today after recieving a call from my attorneys partner... He handles all the ssdi and vocational parts of wc, he did a phone interview and went over pre hearing information for my wc case.. He was an injured worker and thats what started his intrests in helping others... He does remind me of one of our lost members here, very forward and to the point... After talking with him he suggested we come in mon and talk with our attorney... Aperently they have strong ties with our bank and might be able to help or atleast stall off the process....
