Eye surgery
Good morning,

Oh crap, it is morning, it just seems like I've been up all night long with sand in my eyeball. Lovely feeling, better than it was in 2004 though. I got the shot in the side of the eye that I asked for, keeps the pain down for about 6 hours. Then I also got the ointment that I requested that's almost as good as having the laser.

I had to get a bit shitty to get pain meds. My words, "okay, you don't want to give me pain meds then you won't mind if I drink will you?" Gee it was that easy, walked out with a script. I've taken 3 pain pills and I might end up taking one just before the exam this afternoon. Especially if they shine a light in my eye, that causes headaches that last for hours.

Eye last night looked better than I thought it would when I took off the bandage. The worst of it was peeling off the tape that had stuck to my eyelashes. But it's over with, better than I was thinking it would be. It can't be repeated. I joined an eye forum on Monday night for my type of eye disease. Many people won't have a repeat eye debridement due to the pain. But since the shot in the eye kept the pain down I'll recommend it to people. Wow, did I say that, I agreed to a shot in the eyeball, on well better than a sharp stick.

The next pain comes when I have to pay cash for my new eyeglass lenses. Yeah, I have about $500. to spare, hate specialized lenses.
