WINK worked and found me a picture of foghorn aint he cute im so thrilled
today has been a good day the family loaded me and my buggy and took me shopping k-mart was having a grand sale we will never get the card paid soon but i got me some 3:00 shirts and ate a big lunch it was a good daycation . but im wore out and feet swelled like they want to bust sugar is staying close to 380 no matter how much i watch eating
praying for us all a pain free ,stress free full of rest night sent w/love

Jayne, you must have one hec of a freezer if you killed 122 of those today. My cousin in Broken Bow has a chicken farm (?). I think they grow them for Foster farms but I can't remember for sure. All I know is that the ammonia smell in those long coop/sheds is absolutely horrible. You know immediately if you have lung problems of any kind.

Jayne, you gotta pick one them chickens out and name it "Sweet Foghorn." Now you know of course if you name it you cannot kill it and every time you see it you will think of Sweet Then you have to pick out the biggest animal on the farm and name it "Monster" and of course you can't kill it either even if it is the huge pig you were getting ready to butcher, LOL (j/k) Of course there is also those fancy "Red" leg chickens and I'm sure there's something out there that "Wink's" alot and I know you must have a "Bad Boy" out there that's always tryin' to, ah well you know...ooops I better not say that, ROFL...

You can see where I'm going with this, by the time I am done everyone will be named and therefore a pet and then you can't eat 'em cause they'll remind you of us

Sweet....I like the new avatar.... Wink is the best. Good to hear you went out with your family and had a great day. Now I don't want you to take this in place of your medical needs of your blood sugar....but my husband does alot of reading he did some research on dieabetics some time back....(or forgot to mention the research he and his brother do is with herbs and vitamins I guess you could say alternative medicine) I hope you like cinnamon because if you do...cinnamon is very good to level out blood sugar....so if you can eat like a 1/4 teaspoon twice aday....it may help you. If you don't like cinnamon you can put it in gel caps and then just swallow them....you can get the gel caps at a health food store. I am not a dieabietic(SP?) but my it sure can't hurt to try it. Plus I love cinnamon. My hubby said his brother has a friend that he helped with this...and it did help. So heck give it a try....

Jayne....I have always said I wanted to be back on the farm...but the one thing I will never have more then a few of is chickens....they smell so bad....and I can remember back the days of butchering them and that smell alone was enough to make me want to quit eating chicken....all those little feathers....what a pain in the you know what....all I have to say is....you work very hard for your family...and my hat comes off to you girl.
