full moon and pain levels
From my experience as a teacher I have seen the behavior of children change with the full moon.

With my medically fragile daughter I would see her health decline when there was a full moon.

And today my son Cody's behavior was at it's worst, not suprising with there being a full moon.

And on most days I can get by using the tens unit, heat pad, massage, and pain patches to help control pain. But not today, this is a day that requires pain meds.

Do others on this forum see changes in their pain levels when there is a full moon?

RE: full moon and pain levels
Today was bad,I didnt know till tonight it was a full moon.We are camphosting again at Cedar lake and we are full and it was a crazy day, while we do have the smallest loop to host we also have the only camping loop with a swimming area so we get alot of kids....I live in fear of a child getting hit by a car or a drowning so I do alot of walking making sure parents are watching their little darlings today I had to use a cane and it hurt I felt like Dr House on TV, grouchy and wanted to chew pain meds like M&Ms.Good news a friend called and asked if they could bring dinner out to the lake and have dinner with us...I felt like I won the lottery!Monster this is the life I chose for you it has been great...Bill went out today and caught 16 crappie in a little over an hour...it has been great

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

RE: full moon and pain levels
Thanks Jayne, I kinda thought there was something to the pain levels being extra high and the full moon.

For as bad as I felt yesterday, I am feeling much better today.

I found this article online and thought I would share.

RE: full moon and pain levels
Jayne I think I would love that lifestyle but have no truck to move the 5th wheel lol. I guess a house on wheels isn't much good for travelling if you don't have a vehicle capable of pulling it lmao!

I'm actually loving the little park I moved to. It's small and initimate. I have a nice little grasy park like area and the owner of the park owns the adjoining 10 acres and I am in love with that place! It's got little hills, a tank (or pond lol) lots of froggies, little baby turtles...all kind of stuff to look at and keep me occupied while the furbabies chew on deer bones that they find here and there.

I went wading knee high the other day to catch a little baby turtle...took a pic and let him go. THis place is doing my heart good Smile

I'm sorry to hear you are hurting so badly, I so wish there was a cure for all of us Sad

Love ya woman, you and Bill give each other a gentle hug from your honery blue monster buddy Smile
