My cup runith over
I would really be nice that if trouble is going to attack you that it would take turns. But we are not in a perfect world are we? Most people I talk to and believe me it hasn't been that many. They always say that you can only climb on mountain at a time. And if my mountains weren't crumbling all around me I would take that advice and live by it. Some say that you have to pick your battles. Sounds great, but if the ARMY hidding around the corner, in the mall, sitting in your parking lot with camera and pin in hand just waiting for you to make a mistake. Well, in this case I'd just say to hell with them and go on about my day.

But what is you're going though a messy divorce, been dealing WC for four years, and you have a deadline to get out your next book you're on so many medication that you can't think steright and you've got the worst case of writter block in the history of the American stage. Your health condition is so bad that most of the day you cry or the rest of the day you're sleeping or a some doc appointment, wishing to grow wings in fly away.

I other words when everyone seems to want something from you and they want the answers yesterday...no make that last week, what would you do?

This is what I did. Since the divorce is irrecogciable difference and neither of us have anything joint together bot even kids. I say look I'll just mail off that I received the paper work, and anything other than that until you hear from me you're on your own! DON'T CALL OR EMAIL ME! Then and only then did I get some relief to deal with all the rest. One mountain at a time! Prayers helps WHOLD LOT! Thanks for listening...and remember to STAY UP FOR YOURSELVES OR FALL FOR EVERYONE ELSES CRAP!

Peace Lefty.

Lefty, what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger.

Took me a couple of years to find peace over my work comp injury. Had alot of anger and I eventually lost my job over the injury. Now it's, okay Lord, Your will not mine.

It's harder when you don't have a support system, I'm fortunate to have a wonderful husband but so many don't. I lost almost all of my friends over my injury. One good Christian friend wouldn't even use her as a reference. She said that anything she said or wrote as a reference would be considered almost ancient history. Gee, what a good friend. Even my neighbors have shunned me, my own sister told me that since a co-worker managed to work during cancer treatment I should of been able to hold down a full time job. Okay, walking isn't a requirement for a job?

Life is hard, work comp is even harder, prayers my friend. You may feel that at times there's a huge mountain that you need to cross but with faith you can see the tunnel. God never abandons us, we abandon Him.

Bodybuilder, thank you! I was sitting here feeling a little low. Good thing was no one was around to join me in my pity party...yhsnk God gor that. But sometimes in the middle of it all when all the world is asleep is when I can really hear the Lord's comforting words. Thank you again.
