Dr. Hook
Well, I am paying dearly for it now, but last night at our local casino, for only 10 bucks, we went and saw Dr. Hook. I LOVED it, it was a great show, held outdoors, (which kept the vibrations down). It was wonderful! I loaded up on meds so I could take it, and we sat in lawnchairs I was wrapped in a blanket. It was a terrific show, very family oriented, kids were dancing at the stage. I hurt so bad today, I might die, lol, but it was SOOOOOOOOO worth it. This is the first time since injury I feel like I did something we wanted to do, the first time it did not feel like life was just passing me by.

Sithie, I'm so glad you got out of the house for awhile, but I'm sorry it has caused you so much pain. I used to love the song "Sharing the Night Together." I can't remember any others right now but it seems like he had another hit that I really liked. The indian casinos are great for concerts. They don't seem to charge an arm and a leg most of the time. We saw Lonestar last weekend, I didn't realize thay had so many hits and their show was terrific as well. Take care of yourself and I hope you'll start feeling better real quick

Ahhh, Sexy Eyes was the one I was thinking of. Nah, I was around those years, was in my teens but now that I'm in my forties memory has gone, LOL!!! Maybe that's a good thing though cause I'm sure I did some things back then that I would rather forget

Sithie, I'm Soo Jealous!!! I LOVE Dr Hook and the Medicine Show!! I to would have endured just about any amount of Pain, (Within reason, of Course) To see them!! I'm glad you had a Great Time, and I Hope Your Pain goes away Soon!! It's Great to see that You got out and had Fun, after all, when it's all said and done, isn't that what' Life's all about? Have a Great Day!!

sithie, I am so glad you had a good time. I hate to say it but I don't know who Dr. Hook is. But you all seem to know him and his band so I am glad you had a good time. I wish you didn't have to pay so the next day however. It is good to get out. Red

Sithie I am glad you had a good time. I got to see Dr. Hook when I was about nine and I have loved them ever since. Sexy eyes has always been one of my favorites. I like just about everything by them.

I,am with Red, we must be from the ole school. I have heard of DrHook but never heard the music. But so glad you enjoyed yourself even if in pain , s it will settle down and ease up and all was worthwhile.
I go back to the old rock and roll days. Buddy Holly, Sam Cooke, Bill Haley and the comets, Now that is OLD LOL Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain. |
