I foundout today Today is in need of more surgery.

For the newbies here or the new oldies here Todd is my brother in law who is in need of a kidney transplant. He had a failed kidney transplant August 2011, and was to have received a donor kidney last month but complications with the blood type prevented that from happened.

Well back to the surgery, I foundout today more surgery is needed. Todd has a port or a cath in his arm which is used for different medical procedures. But it is letting to much blood flow and this is causing stress on his heart. Sounds like the surgery will be pretty soon.

Bummer I'm surprised the surgery hasn't happened already. Once a port fails or allows too much blood flow they get into surgery pretty fast, usually within 48 hours on the norm. It's a hard life, some people might consider changing out a port a minor surgery but it's actually pretty risky, not something to take lightly.

Prayers Bummer, we were all grown when my mom went thru ESRD, can't imagine what it's like for Todd's two young boys.
