I am sitting here at the computer working on taxes, thought I was hearing thunder so I looked outside, and it is snowing!

Bummer, I know you hate the snow as well but could you do me a favor........? Keep it.......enjoy it.............

We have had some weird weather this last week, above average weather and lots of sun..... Today is colder about 28, but it has been in the mid 40's.. It was looking promising with loosing around 9 inches of snow... The weather seems to be a month early, a few trucks have gone through the ice, normaly the lakes have about 30 inches of ice but this ice is honey combed and around 12 inches... The power of the sun is strong this year, I even took out a lawn chair and sat on the deck.............cant wait til spring....

its cooler here today around 55,Quietdude has been watching a pair of bald eagles here at the lake.One of them has been agitated today and very vocal....

I think they are being vocal because all of the free........birds are loose and are beatiing them to thier meals..........

we have a pair here at the lake and they are huge and a juvinile pair that hatched out this last year.....yep quietdude thinks the adult pair is trying to get the younger pair to leave home.....and set the parents freeeeeeeeeeeee

Around 3" of snow last night with freezing drizzle this morning.

Biggest problems right now is the drifting of roads.

Most the area schools are open today, crazy! Our school district is 80% gravel/dirt roads.

Sleet and Snow

rain,the entire tri-state area braced for a winter storm everybody and their Uncle bought out the stores they even closed down the schools last night! woke up this morning to nothing but rain.....cant trust weathermen....they are paid to lie...

We have been back in the freezer for the past 4 days or so, has warmed up a bit today about 25.....but its better than -15 with the winds hitting our sails..
