Spending Money is one thing I am good at!

Something I get to do today, all for a good cause!

It is ordering day for the non-profit I volunteer with and I get to spend today!

Ordering DVD's on parenting a disabled child, Love & Logic material, books, on dyslexia, bipolar, behavior disorders, autism, and more.

Also ordering color overlays for dyslexia readers.

I started about 6 months ago getting request from parents & teachers.

Also ordered a guide to getting and keeping social security.

All items ordered are kept in a Lending Library and made available to families & teachers within our county.

Well back to ordering.

Bummer you need to look into a grant for getting I-Pads for the summer to help the students. I've heard some remarkable stories from parents and teachers on how much I-pads help non-verbal or kids that have a speech problem. Just something to consider.

Mot of the schools use ipads here already in the classroom, especially the special education classrooms.
Our classrooms get special money for technology but may purchase one for the non-profit for the Lending Library program.

They are expensive, my husband uses one for work. E-mail is done by ipad, so is taking pictures per business.

I may look into getting one for myself, I am very limited by my cell phone due to my hearing per volume controls on the cell, can't text due to vision limitations on the cell so an ipad may be the way to go.

I was reading on one of the news things I read that Kindle may go to giving them away just to keep people bying their books and apps....I have a sony ereader but its not wifi...it said all those ipads and things would go down in price but that data plans would continue to go up up up
