The one thing people don't understand is we never make it rich off work comp. It helps keep the false claims away but it really sucks for the ones that are hurt and need the help. Unless you speak with a lawyer that can make sure you are looking at this the right way don't be surprised if the figure you come up with is a lot more then the one they come up with.

Exactly what Manley said.. My lawyer even told me no one gets rich by w/c thats why its best to have a good lawyer on your side so when you have these question you can call them up or shoot them an email.. And like Manley said you can sit there and do the calculation but you will end up with a way higher number than what they will offer and what you will likely receive.. Unfortunately that's the way it works.

21 yr old female in Indiana. Left L5,S1 herniated disc w/ nerve root sleeve compression. Micro-Disectomy for L5,S1 left sciatica nerve impingement. Workers Comp SUCKS!
