RE: Infection
Thanks bb, I'm glad to be here too.......lol..

The infection seems to be gone now, other than some dead skin around the heal.. But now am expierencing some proplems and might be the antibiotic. My hand are very itchy and hot and when i flex them all the way open I can see hundreds of little white spots. They itch so bad I could rub them raw or take a wire brush to them.. I quit taking them yesterday and am waiting a return call from the dr because I think I may be alergic.. Durring christmas it seemed my my asthma was getting worse, using the neb and rescue inhalers hardly helped.. But now today my breathing is back to normal, so I'm betting it was the med..

The only antibiotic I have been alergic to was IV pipercyclin (spelling) but maybe this cephalexin is from the same family.

RE: Infection
My dr confirmed I am alergic to this med to, he now has me on clindamycin 300 mg 4 times per day.. He was glad I stoped the med when I did because it turned my urine brown in which is clearing up now.. Now I await to see the reactions to the new med.....

I used to carry a card in my wallet with my allergies listed. I have to get a new one made up now, the dr added it to my chart while I was talking to him.. While in marshfield while hospitalized they gave me adavan, it did a reverse reaction and I became very disturbed.. After I pulled my feeding tube and ivs and tried to escape they decided to not give me that med again... My wife came to see that morning and to her suprise I was strapped down for my saftey....lol.......
