Pain levels with the full moon
I have been documenting my pain levels when there is a full moon and for the past four months have seen a sharp increase with the full moon.

Last night was one of those migraines that sends a person to ER, arms are numb with the neck & shoulders hurting.

I find this interesting, the increased pain levels with the full moon.
As a former teacher I have experienced how the full moon effects a child's behavor, mutiply that for a child with a disability.

That's possibly the Werewolf trying to break free.

RE: Pain levels with the full moon
Jayne I started keeping records of the pain levels to see if there is a pattern. I wanted to know if there I am doing increasing the pain levels, if so I know to back off on that activity. I did notice putting things on the wall shelf results in a high increas of pain, makes sense, overhead work.

I then started documenting pain levels with weather changes and the full moon.

As a former teacher I saw the changes in behaviors with the students I taught with weather changes and the full moon.

Legal I do believe you were making an attempt at humor.

Ahemmm...like I've told my wife and BOTH sides of my superstitious family, the moon thingy you guys are talking about is merely a myth. Why I have even been made to feel blasphemous whenever I rebelled on the subject. Imagine that! Tongue

RE: Pain levels with the full moon
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus, the few days before a full moon do seem to be more painful for me, just as the day or two before a storm. As a former RN, I can tell you the ER is full around the full moon. As a person with some common sense, I know the barometric pressure before the bad weather does affect the joints. As a country born and corn bread fed red neck I think the moon does play a part. .

Oh now, beckyandac - you don't have to be a redneck to believe in that junk. My wife's not a redneck and she believes what you believe.

A long time ago (when I was just a little boy Smile) I thought to myself, "If the moon does what it does to the great oceans then why on earth doesn't it toss little ole me around like a rag doll?" After-all, I'm 90 something percent water, right?

Something to at least consider here: http://www.livescience.com/7899-moon-myt...fects.html
