opposing counsel in workers comp case in FL
Long story short I was treated from the start wrong by authorized Dr.from workers insurance who said that nothing is wrong with me and return to work.I didn t go to work because I was barely walking, done mri s again over private insurance and send them to medical experts for comparing http://www.radiia.com who agree with mri s from mine private insurance so that means one report from workers comp against 2 other,I end up on 2 surgeries and probably going on 2 more in my lumbar spine.Workers comp.insurance deny all of my claim,my attorney took deposition from authorized workers comp Dr.who was lying under sworn oath on deposition.Worker comp.insurance first said they will cover my medical bills but few days later again I receive denial letter of everything. My attorney now is doing opposing counsel.Does anybody know something about that, this is first time I m hearig about opposing counsel in workers comp case?Thank You!Sad

RE: opposing counsel in workers comp case in FL
its fairly normal for them to deny everything it keeps them from having to pay the bills....if you have the proof to back yourself up then they will have to pay up good luck

;)Workmans comp is not a road you want to travel alone. You need a good lawyer,a great family and good friends to lean on.If you make it thru without losing everything you have worked for all your life, you have come out ahead of the game.....Smile

I know that and we have proofs, even the other attorney said he never heard that dr.under sworn oath in deposition is lying.Attorney from w.comp.insurance offered me to cover our medical bills last week and now at once they deny everything.I would like to know what is the next step and what is the opposing counsel?I m not familiar with that.Thank You!
