Holloween=Cody+the police

We were at a friend's house in town and let Cody walk to the end of the block, (4 houses away) He got turned around and got lost. We had 4 adults looking for him for over 30 minutes. I was getting ready to call 911 whenI saw a police car pulled over to the side of the road with it's lights flashing and Cody getting ready to get inside the back seat.

He had walked ...over a mile, once he realized he was lost and told an adult. This person in return called 911, course Cody was upset and crying. Two ladies stayed with my son and tried to keep him calm until the police arrived.

I was driving around and happened to see the police car with flashing lights and that is how I found Cody.

He is upset, cold, and his ankles hurt but I do not think we will wonder off very far next time.

My Lord, Bummer Knees...for the poor child's sake, I hope "we" won't wander off very far next time....
